Field trips to the Museum can be a rewarding experience.
Children can enjoy themselves
while learning in a relaxed, playful atmosphere.
The group fee (for 10 or more) is $1 off
the regular admission fees. One chaperone is required
for every 10 children. Teachers
with a current MTA card are admitted free of charge.
Any one of our many educational programs, presented
by our professional staff, can be
added to your field trip experience for a $75 fee.
Each program is limited to 25 students;
discounts may be given if multiple programs are
desired. Our party rooms can be utilized
for your lunch or program, but must be scheduled
in advance.
To book a field trip you need to call the Museum
at least 2 days in advance. For the benefit
of the students, the Museum attempts to schedule
no more than 60 children at one time for
Museum visits. A faxed letter on your stationary
is required to confirm your visit. The letter
should include the date and time of your visit,
and the number of children plus adults in your
group. Also include whether or not a room is needed
