For Preschoolers
Puppet Theater: Participants in this
program will be treated to an interactive puppet
show. Children will
create their own puppet and have a chance to use
puppets and a puppet theater to produce their
own show.

Bubblemania:
Explore the magic of bubbles. Children will create
their own bubble wands, discover how
to “catch” a bubble, create a large
bubble using straws and yarn, and create a bubble
print.

Dinosaur Tracks: Students
will make their own dinosaur tracks, create a
fossil and expand their
knowledge of these amazing prehistoric animals.

Whale or Fish:
In this program students learn the difference
between whales and fish and how they live
together in the same environment. Children will
make a fish print to take home.

Wonders of Science:
Participants in this program will explore how
exciting and fun science can be.
They will get the chance to become a scientist
while they are involved in simple chemistry experiments;
explore the properties of magnets; and discover
static electricity.

Paper Making:
Students will create their own paper in this hands-on
program as they learn how paper
can be made from recycled materials. Natural items
can be added for color or decoration.

Puppetry:
Students involved in this program will explore
many areas of puppetry. They will learn how
to make yarn dolls, paper bag puppets and stick
puppets and will use them in their own puppet
show.
Students can expand their creativity and storytelling
skills while being involved in a fun and interactive
program. This program can be tailored to fit a
specific theme.

Theater:
This program exposes children to the many areas
of theater. The children are involved in
dramatic techniques such as pantomime, mirror
mimic, charades, costume making, sound effects,
and performing short skits.

Eye on the Weather:
This program is designed to increase the student’s
awareness of the world around
them. Students will learn about weather-related
emergencies their community might face and safety
precautions they should be prepared to take. They
will learn about clouds and make a “cloud
watcher.”

Puzzled:
Students participating in this program will expand
their creative thinking. They will learn games
that involve logic and strategic thinking and
will explore afterimages and optical illusions.
All activities in
this program are designed to involve logic and
critical thinking.

Games Galore:
Students involved in this program will rediscover
the enjoyment of being involved in
simple games that involve cooperation and teamwork.

Aeshteometry:
Aestheometry is the study of geometric shapes
through the use of a ruler, compass,
protractor, needle and thread. Students will create
a design and discover that straight lines can
produce curves.

People Near and Far:
Students involved in this program will explore
the various customs and traditions
inside and outside of the United States. They
will create a flag, learn games, and find out
about unique
cultural celebrations.
